Practice 02 ยท Enterprise Data Infrastructure
Archived, but never out of reach.
An archive that stays online and searchable: data on low-cost storage, found by metadata and recalled without a ticket to IT.

01What we deliver
Active Archive
- One namespace. Users see one file system, wherever data lives.
- Search by metadata. Find data by what it is, not where it is.
- Self-service recall. Users restore what they need themselves.
- Policies. Data moves automatically as it ages.
- Integrity checks. Archived data verified on a schedule.
- Audit. Every access and change logged.
02How it connects
From start to finish.
The path we design around. Every project starts from your own version of it.

Questions about active archive.
How is an active archive different from backup?
Backup is a copy kept for recovery. An active archive is the primary home of data you keep but rarely use, still searchable and usable.
Do users need to change how they work?
No. Files stay in the same namespace; recall happens when they are opened or requested.
